May 10, 2009 at Steve's house. We were trying to steal Donnie's goldfinches:)
No Kris, there is much more to it than you think. First you have to go over to the neighbors, where all the goldfinch in the neighborhood are eating. Then you take down their bird feeders and hide them. Then you tape a note to the stand the feeder used to be on (yes, goldfinch can read) telling them to head to Steve's house for some yummy birdseed. Once you have succeded in stealing all the neighbors birds in this fashion, then you post a video bragging about it, and text the neighbors to check out the blog. That, my dear sister, is how it is done!
That day is so clear to me. We went to Austin for lunch on Mother's Day with my Mom and Dad and when we came home driving up the driveway, Donnie said where's my bird feeder. I said "wait a minute, there's a note in the tree"

That was a fun day. Steve and I had a great time taking down your feeder, and posting a note. We really thought we were clever!
